United Arab Emirates · Commodity trading & supply
Essential commodities, sourced to a written specification.
Westwarren Trading supplies fertilizers, industrial chemicals, grains and pulses, steel products and heavy equipment spare parts. Quality, inspection and documentation are agreed before a cargo moves — not after it arrives.

Who we are
A trading house is only as good as the specification it is willing to be held to.
We operate from the United Arab Emirates, at the point where supply from the Gulf, the CIS, South and Southeast Asia and Europe meets demand across the Middle East, Africa and the subcontinent. That position is useful for one reason: it lets us hold more than one approved origin for almost every line we carry, so a buyer is not left with a substitution when a mill or a plant goes down.
Our work is unglamorous and it is the whole job. Qualify the producer. Write the grade, the test method and the tolerance into the contract. Appoint an independent surveyor at the load port. Assemble the certificates the letter of credit actually calls for. Book the stowage and the marking the discharge port actually requires.
Where a requirement sits outside what we can source properly, we say so. A declined enquiry costs a great deal less than a rejected cargo.

Every division on this site lists the grades, packaging, Incoterms and documentation we work with, so a procurement team can judge us before making contact.

How we work
Four things happen between an enquiry and a discharged cargo.
None of them is exotic. Doing all four, in order, every time, is what separates a trading house from a broker forwarding an offer.
01
Sourcing
We qualify producers and licensed distributors against the specification the buyer actually needs, not the nearest available grade, and hold more than one approved origin for every line we carry.
02
Verification
Quality is fixed in the contract before it is fixed in the hold. Sampling, analysis and pre-shipment inspection are agreed at the point of order and carried out by an independent surveyor.
03
Documentation
Certificates of origin and analysis, phytosanitary and fumigation certificates, mill test certificates, safety data sheets and dangerous-goods declarations — assembled to the terms of the letter of credit.
04
Delivery
Bulk, breakbulk and containerised movements booked against a nominated laycan or delivery window, with stowage, marking and documentation prepared for the discharge port's own requirements.

Quality & compliance
Verification is written into the contract, not offered as reassurance.
Sampling method, analysis, the appointed surveyor and the point at which quality becomes binding are all settled at the point of order. Counterparties are screened before an offer is made, and dangerous goods are declared and packed to the applicable transport code.

For producers & suppliers
If you make it, we are interested in the specification sheet first.
We take on new origins continuously across all six divisions — plants, mills, processors and licensed distributors. What moves an introduction forward is a specification sheet, a recent third-party analysis, available packaging formats, load port and indicative monthly availability. Send those and you will get a straight answer about whether there is a market for it in our book.
- 01
Send the specification
Product, grade, test method, packaging, load port and indicative availability.
- 02
We check it against demand
Whether the grade fits enquiries we already hold, and whether the origin clears screening.
- 03
Sample and trial
A representative sample, independently analysed, followed by a trial shipment on agreed terms.
- 04
Approved origin
Added to the division's origin list and quoted against live enquiries.
Notes from the desk
Procedural writing, not market commentary
Short pieces on the parts of a trade that decide whether it goes well: specification, inspection, terms and documents.

Next step
Tell us the specification. We will come back with origins, terms and a price.
Send the grade, quantity, destination port and delivery window. If a line sits outside what we carry, we will say so rather than substitute it.
